South Fork Baits Began For 1 Reason — To Catch More Fish!

I started in Columbus, Ohio in late 2022, debuting one of our flagship lures, the 5” Trick Stick, in a few very unique colors that you don’t see in your big box retail stores. Our goal and specialty to this day remains the same — providing handmade, one-at-a-time soft plastics and jigs in colors and styles you don’t usually see or get the chance to fish with.

We now offer 11 different lures to catch anything that swims, ranging from our 2” Cropduster to the 6.5” Mega Swimbait and everything in between! Whether you’re fishing a small pond, a local river, or heading out on the lake, we’ve got baits ready to go to work.

Why South Fork Baits?

After fishing my whole life, I believe a good bait needs the right balance of durability and action. That’s why we use quality plastic with a medium hardness, giving our baits the action they need while holding up through multiple catches. Our plastic has no added salt or other additives, allowing our baits to maintain their natural buoyancy and get the job done.

Every single one of our baits is injected or hand poured, quality controlled, packaged, and labeled one at a time. We’re not here to pump out mass-produced baits and call it a day. We take pride in what we make and want every bait that ends up in your tackle box to be something we’re proud to put our name on.

At the end of the day, we’re anglers ourselves. We know what it’s like to try different colors, switch up presentations, and look for something that might get the fish to bite when nothing else is working. That’s what South Fork Baits is all about — giving anglers something different to tie on and fish with confidence.
